Free Fax For Asterisk
Digium will provide a single occurrence licence for free to the Asterisk Fax Module. For description see Fax for Asterisk.
Fax For Asterisk
This is for additional occurrences beyond the first. If you need multiple faxes simultaneously, you can add more licenses.
Add reliable, high-capacity fax capabilities to your Asterisk system with Digium's Fax For Asterisk. It provides Asterisk dialplan functions and applications that make it easy to build custom fax solutions. It's also future-proof, offering support for traditional analog fax technologies and T.38 SIP faxing.
G.729 Codec
Cut bandwidth requirements without sacrificing call quality. Standard G.711 calls take 64kbit/s per call. The G.729 codec compresses the payload to 8kbit/s, giving you up to eight (8) times the capacity on the same connection. Ideal for use in limited bandwidth scenarios (ADSL connections, international VoIP service, satellite connections, etc.).
Buy the license key per concurrent call (1 license key = G.729 capability for 1 concurrent call).
High Performance Echo Canceler
For Asterisk users who connect to the PSTN, the most common type of echo is hybrid echo – the echo introduced by the impedance mismatch between 2-wire and 4-wire telephone circuits. The echo manifests as a distorted and delayed reflection of the user's voice while in conversation with an external party through the PSTN.
Asterisk itself offers a range of open source echo cancellation routines that are moderately effective in eliminating the hybrid mismatch echo that most Asterisk users experience.
However, there are cases in which these algorithms are not effective. To combat this, Digium introduced DSP-based echo cancellation modules for our multi-port T1/E1/J1 cards and our 24-port analog card. Until now, our users of the TDM400P and TDM800P have not been privileged to the quality of this DSP-based echo cancellation for Asterisk.
Host-based Toll-Quality echo cancellation software is designed to operate under 32-bit and 64-bit Linux on x86-32 and x86-64 compatible processors, and provides echo cancellation for configurable tail lengths of 16ms (128 taps), 32ms (256 taps), 64ms (512 taps), and 128ms (1024 taps).
Digium Phone Module for Asterisk
Digium phones, the Digium Phone Module for Asterisk (DPMA) and Asterisk represent a huge step forward in today’s communications systems. With DPMA, Digium’s phones are the first that both ease the process of installation and are built specifically to take advantage of the power of Asterisk. No other solution offers the same ease and security. Without complicated scripting, Digium Phone Module for Asterisk provides direct integration of Digium phones and many Asterisk capabilities including voicemail, call parking, call recording, and, for the first time in Asterisk, user presence. Digium’s phones are also the easiest to configure and manage of any phone on the market.
The Digium Phone Module for Asterisk is a binary Asterisk module that provides a secure communications channel between Digium phones and Asterisk. This secure channel is used to provision and manage the phones and to provide direct access to Asterisk's internal applications. DPMA is not required to use Digium phones, but it provides Digium phones with many enhanced applications.
APPLICATION NOTE
The Digium Phone Module for Asterisk is compatible with Asterisk 12, Asterisk 11, Certified Asterisk, and the "-digiumphones" branch of Asterisk 10.
A single free license is required for each Asterisk system running DPMA.
