Enabling Bria Cloud Solutions for a user
Once you set up the Bria Cloud Solutions module on your PBX and paired it with CounterPath in the Module Configuration process, you can now come into the User Management module and enable Bria Cloud Solutions for one or more users.
In the User Management module, click on a user at the right. You should then see the option to enable Bria Cloud Solutions.
When enabling Bria Cloud Solutions you'll be informed to type in the password for the user again as by default we only store the password in non plain text. To send the password to CounterPath we will need you to re-define it.
Press the "Submit" button when done.
The system will now contact CounterPath across their API and configure the following:
Create a new user in Bria Cloud Solutions. The user will be the username defined here plus the domain that CounterPath set up for your org. For example, "4002@freepbx.org" would be your login name and the password would be whatever you defined here. Anytime you change the user password here it will also update CounterPath's Bria Cloud Solutions servers.
Add the SIP device for this user. The SIP device will be whatever the prefix you defined in the Bria CCS module, which in our example was "999" plus whatever the default extension that is defined for this user is. So in our example the SIP device would be "9994002."
It will use the SIP secret that you have setup for the default device.
If you have the XMPP module enabled and this user is enabled for XMPP, it will also send the XMPP username to Bria Cloud Solutions since Bria can also support XMPP chatting.
