How to Find the IP and MAC Addresses

  1. Select the Options button.

  2. Select "Phone Status," which should be option 10.

  3. Select Option 1, "Network Status."

  4. Using the left menu keys on the left hand side of the screen select the “IP ADDR” to see the IP Address or “Mac Addr” to see the MAC Address.

     

  5. You will now be shown either the IP Address or Mac Address depending on which you chose in the last step.

How to Set the TFTP Boot Server

  1. Select the Options button.

  2. Next, select "Admin Menu" and enter the Admin password, which is 22222 by default.

     

     

  3. Now select option 8, "Network."

     

     

  4. Next, select option 7, "TFTP Server."

     

     

     

     

  5. Then, select option 1, "Primary Server."

  6. You will now be able to edit the TFTP Boot Server.

How to Reset to Factory Defaults

  1. Select the Options button.

  2. Select "Phone Status," which should be option number 10.

     

  3. Select option 4, "Factory default." Then press # to confirm the reset.

  2. Next, select "Phone Status," which should be option 2. 

  3. You will now select Option 1, "IP&MAC Addresses."

     

  4. You will now be shown the current IP Address of the phone.

  5. Press the down arrow once and you will see the MAC Address of the phone. 

     

How to Set the TFTP Boot Server

  1. Select the Options button.

  2. Select the "Admin Menu" option. 

  3. Enter the Admin password, which is 22222 by default.

     

     

  4. Select "Config. Server."

     

  5. Select Option 2, "TFTP Settings."

     

  6. Select "Primary Server."

  7. Enter the Internal Or External IP Address of your PBX. (Note: What IP you use will   depend on if the phone will be used inside of your network or from a remote location.)

  8. Reboot the phone.

How to Reset to Factory Defaults

  1. Select the Options button.

  2. Select the "Admin Menu" option.

  3. Enter the Admin Password, which is 22222 by default.

  4. Select option 4, "Factory Default."

  5. Press # to confirm you want to reset device to defaults.

  4. Select option 1, "Configuration Server."

  5. Then select option 2, "TFTP Settings."

  6. Select option 1, "Primary TFTP Server."

  7. Enter the Internal Or External IP Address of your PBX. (Note: What IP you use will   depend on if the phone will be used inside of your network or from a remote location.)

  8. Select "Done."

  9. The phone will now ask you to reboot. Reboot the phone.

  5. Select "Default" to confirm the the reset process.

  1. Select the Options button.

  2. Select the "Advanced" menu option.

     

  3. Enter the Admin Password, which is 22222 by default.

     

  4. Select the "Cfg Svr." menu option.

     

  5. Select the TFTP box.

     

  6. Define the Primary Server Address to your PBX. Generally this would be an IP Address such as 10.10.0.1 in our example.

  3. Enter the Admin Password, which is 22222 by default.

     

  4. Select the "Reset" menu option.

     

  5. Select the option "Factory Default."

  2. Select option 3, "Phone Status." Use the up and down arrows to scroll through the options.

     

  3. Select option 1, "IP&MAC Addresses."

     

  4. You will now be shown the current IP Address of your phone.

    5. Press the down arrow once and you will now be shown the MAC Address of the phone.

     

How to Set the TFTP Boot Server

  1. Select the Options button.

     

  2. Select option 5, "Admin Menu."

     

  3. Enter the Admin Password, which is 22222 by default.

  4. Select option 1, "Config Server."

     

  5. Select option1, "Primary Server."

     

  6. Enter the IP Address of the PBX (Note: This IP can be either the Private or the Public IP Address of the PBX. This depends on if the phone will be used locally or from a remote location.)

  6. Press "Enter" when the option "Primary Server" is highlighted.

     

  7. Input the address of the PBX and then press "Set." Then reboot the phone.

  4. Scroll to the "Factory Default" option and select "Enter."

     

  5. Press # to confirm you want to reset device to defaults.

     

  6. The phone will now reboot. When it starts back up it will be factory defaulted.

  4. Select option 4, "Factory Default."

     

  5. Press "Default" on the right hand side of the screen to confirm. The phone will now reboot and will be defaulted when it starts back up.

  1. On the handset press the up volume key (+).

     

  2. The screen on the handset will now display the IP and MAC Addresses.

     

How to Set the TFTP Boot Server

  1. Find the IP Address of the phone and enter it into a web browser.

  2. Log in with the phone Admin password, which is 22222 by default.

     

  3. Click on "Management Settings" on the left.

     

  4. Define the Configuration Server Address to your PBX. Generally this would be an IP Address such as 10.10.0.1 in our example. Then define what Management Transfer Protocol to use. In our example we are picking "TFTP." Then press the "Save Changes" button.

     

How to Reset to Factory Defaults 

  1. Press and hold the reset button on the MBU base unit for 15 seconds.

     

  2. All the front panel lights will come on when a factory restart is initiated.
