CMOS Battery Install System 60 and 100

The following steps will guide you through the replacement/install of the internal CMOS battery of your System 60 or System 100 Sangoma appliance

 

Battery Type

  • The CMOS battery is a CR2032 3V battery.  This is a very common watch battery.

Replacement Procedure

  • Verify that the appliance is powered off.

  • Unplug the power from the rear of the unit.

  • Unscrew the 2 thumb screws on the back of the unit.

  • Remove the cover by sliding the top cover back about 1 inch (2.5 cm).  Lift up the lid to remove.

  • In the front of the unit, you will see the battery location.

  • Place the battery writing side up, into the battery slot by installing at an angle towards the back of the unit, then push down on the front side of the battery.

  • When properly installed, the battery should not fall out when unit is tipped over.

  • Reinstall cover by setting the cover on the unit about 1 inch (2.5 cm) from the front of the unit. Slide the cover towards the front and tighten the thumb screws on the rear of the unit.
