Trunks Settings

A trunk is what a fax is delivered across, and it allows for a single outbound or inbound fax to occur at a single time. Each trunk has 1 or more DIDs associated with it and may be mapped to a physical port on your fax CPE device. In the Trunks > Settings section, you can set a friendly name associated with your trunk and see which device and port the trunk is mapped to.

A FAXStation fax trunk can be bought in a Full or Light version. The full (high capacity) version offers unlimited pages per month. The light (low capacity) version offers a restricted number of pages per month. Visit the SIPStation Store at http://www.sipstation.com for details.

How to Navigate to the Trunks > Settings Section

• Log into the eFax Portal at http://fax.sipstation.com 

• Click the Trunks item in the navigation menu, then click the Settings section.

• Pick which location you want to manage.

  • From here, you can change the name of any of your fax trunks, see what CPE device and port the trunk is mapped to, and see whether it is a low capacity or high capacity trunk.

Press the Save new names button after defining a new name for 1 or more trunks.
