If you have any troubles installing your FAXStation CPE device, these quick tips may help!

 

Symptom

No lights or LEDs are lit

Unit does not have power

Ensure you are using only the correct power adapter supplied with your FAXStation CPE device.
Ensure your power adapter is connected securely to a known good power outlet.
Ensure the DC barrel plug is connected securely into the DC jack on the CPE device.

Not online for service

Unit does not have proper connectivity

Ensure the CPE is connected via the WAN port to your DHCP enabled network
Ensure your network is not blocking the ports and traffic required for operation. See Technical Network Requirements 

No network light or LED

Network cable is bad or port on router/switch is bad

Try a different network cable, or connect the FAXStation CPE to a different router/switch port

 

If device installation was perfectly successful, but you are experiencing specific problems with either sending or receiving faxes. Please see our appropriate troubleshooting pages for inbound or outbound faxing at Troubleshooting
