Updating to Switchvox 7.6.1
This article describes Switchvox version 7.6.1 (101892).
See also:Â Known Issues, 7.2, 7.2.1, 7.3, 7.3.1, 7.4, 7.5, 7.5.0.1, 7.5.1.
This version requires version 7.0 (94939). See the article Updating to Switchvox 7.0 for instructions on migrating to version 7.0. Please note that after you update the PBX, you need to clear your web browser cache after you update, to ensure the new features display correctly.
There are new features that do not have corresponding sounds in the 7.0 language sound packs. In versions 7.0 and later, if you are using a language sound pack and a new feature, you may need to record custom sounds for use with the new feature (e.g., Virtual Queues in version 7.3).

New Feature:Â SIPStation Wholesale SIP Trunking & SMS Integration
Switchvox 7.6.1 adds support for SIPStation Wholesale SIP trunking (formerly known as VoIP Innovations SIPDepot). Similar to the SIPStation Retail SIP Trunking support added in Switchvox version 7.4, support for Wholesale SIP Trunking uses the same easy Setup tool and process for attaching an SMS DID to an extension. With version 7.6.1, Sangoma Partners are better able to integrate Sangoma trunking solutions with Switchvox. Updates & Enhancements
The Chat Widget and Video Chat have been removed from the Switchboard. For more information, please read Switchvox Chat Transitions from Switchboard to the Desktop Softphone
The Manage Phones tool in the Admin Web Suite now includes a SIP Transport setting for Additional Phone extensions, when the attached phone is a D-Series Phone or Switchvox Softphone for Mobile. If you need an Additional Phone extension's SIP Transport protocol to be different than the Main extension's protocol, this can now be set to TCP or UDP for a Mobile Softphone, and a D-Series Phone may be set to TCP, UDP, or TLS/SRTP.
Added an option to disable OPUS codec for the Desktop Softphone under Additional phones to prevent high PBX resource utilization. If your system has many concurrent calls using Desktop Softphone, we recommend disabling this codec.

Issues Resolved
Resolved an issue affecting the Root CA expiration on Switchvox systems using a self-signed SSL certificate which has been running a version of 6.6.0.1 or later for more than 1024 days. Updating to 7.6.1 or later will resolve this issue, if a system has been affected, and prevent it from occurring in the future. ( SWVX-17022 )
Addressed scenarios where queue calls would occasionally stop ringing agents due to edge case timing-conditions. (Â SWVX-16704Â SWVX-16964Â SWVX-16932 )
Addressed an issue with the Queue Calls Waiting Widget that caused callers to briefly display in the incorrect order under certain circumstances when there were more than 10 callers waiting in the queue. ( SWVX-15684 )
Switchvox now registers with SIP Providers over UDP even when the provider requires the use of a Proxy Host for registration. (Â SWVX-16402 )
Fixed several issues to address inconsistencies with the Switchvox call logs (SWVX-16744, SWVX-16720, SWVX-16451, SWVX-16378, SWVX-16132).
The Tools > External Contacts tool now correctly shows the Next/Previous navigation buttons in the top right, as well as the navigational dropdown and a total count of external contacts. ( SWVX-15860 )
Updated the User Call Log shown on D-Phones, Switchboard and Softphones to reflect the Caller ID of the calling party when retrieving a parked call or answering a directed pickup, instead of the extension number for the parked line. ( SWVX-15710 )
Extended the second call leg timeout on Chrome Dialer from 30 seconds to 90 seconds to allow more time for a called party to answer when needed. (Â SWVX-12207 )
Resolved an issue that caused a parked call to become disconnected when attempting to answer it via the Switchboard My Calls Widget. (Â SWVX-16804 )
Addressed an issue wherein adding a fourth Sangoma DECT phone would remove a previously registered wireless phone. ( SWVX-16938 )
Resolved an issue where the Voicemail Mailbox in the User Web Tool would display a Caller ID as "null null" when the provider did not send a Caller ID Name. ( SWVX-16388 )
Updated the handling of Call Back Outgoing Call Rules for an Advanced Queue configured to Offer Call Back. Now, if an Outgoing Call Rule available in Switchvox is not present in the list of rules for that queue's call back, then that rule is not considered in scope as either Allow or Deny. Previously, if a rule was not listed here at all, and it matched based on default Outgoing Call Rule prioritization, then it would be considered as a Deny, and the caller would be re-prompted for another number. ( SWVX-16675 )
When an extension with a ring all call rule blind transfers a call to a peered extension with a cascade rule, the call will now cascade to the next rule on the peered extension's call rules. ( SWVX-16749 )
Corrected an issue that caused Secondary Queue Members to be skipped in certain situations when the In Queue Call Routing option was set to route all on-hold callers and incoming callers to an extension if there were no permanent members or all members were logged out. (Â SWVX-16466 )
Fixed an issue where D-Phones may experience connection problem if TCP is used as Transport layer (SWVX-16618)
Resolved an edge issue where the PBX may crash when updating extension presence information across Switchvox Advanced peers. This has been witnessed if the number of advanced peers exceeds recommendations of 3 or fewer (SWVX-16464)
Digium IP Phones firmware updates: 2.9.9 for D6X, and 1.12.8 for D80.
