Overview
Supports Asterisk®, FreeSwitch™as well as other Open Source and proprietary PBX, Switch, IVR, and VoIP gateway applications
Expand from 2 to 4 ports in mixed TE and NT modes as required.
Changing modes requires no jumpers — simply invert the colour-coded module.
Intelligent hardware: Field upgradable firmware to add new features related to voice and/or data as they become available.
One S/T BRI module has two S/T four wire interfaces, which support TE or NT modes of operation

Sangoma Telephony cards are designed to be compatible with most commercially available motherboards.

Faceplate
Sangoma Telephony cards ship pre-installed with 1 U faceplate, along with a 2 U faceplate as accessory.
If you have a 2 U server, the 1 U faceplate will need to be removed to install the 2 U faceplate.

Hardware Configuration

Change operational modes by flipping the colour-coded module
NT Mode = Green side
TE Mode = Red side
Termination resistors need to be set to switch between operational modes
NT Mode = dip switch ON
TE Mode = dip switch OFF
Port order is reverse linear from the PCI plug side
(Spans / RJ45 connectors are ordered right to left as in the figure below)
Telephony card installation is very simple:
Power off server and remove cover to access the PCI/PCIexpress slots
Identify the PCI/PCIexpress slot to be used for your telephony card
Remove the backplate for that slot, from the server.
This backplate may require screwdriver to remove screws before pulling off the backplate. Use your discretion
Insert the telephony card into the PCI/PCIexpress slot and verify it is firmly seated
With the faceplate lines up with the mounting bracket, screw it firmware in place.
verify the E1/T1 ports are lined up and fully accessible from the back of the server before securing position
Plug in your E1/T1 cables into the telephony card

Place server cover back on and power on
