Configure ISDN to SIP-T Interworking

The IMG2020 supports ISDN to SIP-T interworking. An incoming ISDN call can be interworked to a SIP-T call, in which the SIP-T ISUP MIME corresponds to the ISDN incoming message.

In a similar way, when the feature is enabled for an incoming SIP message that includes an ISUP SIP-T MIME, the content of the ISUP SIP-T MIME is interworked to its ISDN equivalent

parameter in an outgoing ISDN call.

To configure the feature, all steps related to SIP to SIP-T must be performed.

Configure SIP to SIP-T Interworking

In addition to the SIP to SIP-T configuration, ISDN to SIPT interworking in the SIP Profile must also be enabled.

SIP_ISDN Interworking

The IMG2020 needs to identify the base variant of the received SIP-T MIME in order to convert it.

For example, if the SIP-T MIME contains headers like below, an association must be made with the proper variant base.

      Content-Type: application/ISUP;base=itu-t92;version=itu-t92

      Content-Disposition: signal;handling=required

      Content-Transfer-Encoding:binary

A variant table with variant type SIP-T must be added in the configuration to handle this type of MIME.

The SIP-T entity used by the SIP stack must also refer to this variant:
