Distributing Software using SD Card

Multiple SD cards can be used to distribute system software to remote systems when an FTP and BootP Server is not available. The system software files can be loaded onto multiple SD Cards through the use of an SD Reader/Writer and the cards can be distributed to each remote site. The bootup.cfg and system software file on each card must be modified using SD Reader/Writer. If however access to the remote site is available, the software can be loaded to each IMG 2020 from one FTP Server. The bootup.cfg file on the SD Card in each system must be configured to get the software load from the FTP Server.
