Enterprise Record All 'Pause' Admin Guide
***Available for Premise deployments only***
Â
1st step:
*In order to utilize the pause functionality detailed in this guide, Fonality Support must be contacted to enable the feature on your server. Submit a support ticket asking to have the pause functionality enabled, or call into support for a tech to create the request on your behalf.
Â
Once enabled:
As the Admin of the Fonality server and the Record All panel, you will have to make a human friendly login for your users.
Â
Log into your Record All panel from your web browser.
=======================================================
The Record All Panel URL syntax is:
s{ServerID)i.pbxtra.fonality.com:8080/orkweb/app
(In this example the Fonality Server ID = 12345)
*--or--*
[Server IPÂ Address]:8080/orkweb/app
=======================================================
Once logged in, navigate to the Admin tab > Users page
By default all users are created with their IP Phones MAC Address as the default Login String.Â
This is where we need to make a more user friendly name for the individual Users to log in.
Select a user from the list on the left side of the screen, and click the 'Edit' button on the right to edit that users account.
We are going to Add a Login String that is friendly to the user:
Â
Now enter a ',' and a username for the user to log in (like first intial last name), and a password.
You can preview your progress and the Users current Login Strings from your Admin > Users screen:
The user can now use this login to access their individual Record All User Panel.Â
Just supply your users the the login URL, their Username, and their generated password.
Â
Pausing active Record All calls in progress as Admin
You as the admin can pause any active recording from the 'Live' tab in your Admin Record All panel:
Â
Just toggle the pause icon to Pause and Resume any live calls.
Â
We also developed a guide for your users to log into the panel and pause their Record All feature.
