I can't get my voicemail

 

Have you forgotten your password?

  1. Please ask your Administrator to reset your password via the Admin Panel.

  2. Click Extensions --> view extensions

  3. Select the user whose password you wish to reset

  4. Under the Voicemail section type in a new password

  5. Click 'Apply All Changes'

Are you missing the 'voicemail' softkey on your phone?

  1. Pick up the receiver and dial 8500

  2. Follow the voice prompts to login to your personal voicemail box

  3. Alert your Administrator that a softkey has disappeared from your phone

When you try to enter your password, does the system fail to respond at all?  Do you have an Aastra phone?

  1. Find the IP of the phone via the Extensions --> view extensions tab.  Hold your mouse over the green circle next to the extension to view the device's IP

  2. From a computer on the same local area network as the PBXtra , open a web browser and navigate to the phone's IP address

  3. Click Global SIP from the menu on the left-hand side

  4. Scroll down until you see Force RFC2833 Out-of-Band DTMF.  Toggle this option on or off (the opposite of the current state)

  5. Click Save Settings

Are you trying to access your voicemail from outside the company?

  1. Call your company's main telephone number

  2. Dial 8500 at the first opportunity (during the main greeting, or whenever the system allows you to dial an extension directly)

  3. Follow the voice prompts in order to access your personal voicemail
