Misc Destinations

THIS WIKI HAS BEEN UPDATED FOR VERSION 13 OF YOUR PBX GUI

What is the Misc Destinations Module used for?

The Misc Destinations Module is used to create a miscellaneous destination to which you can route calls from another module.

For example, you might create a misc destination called "My Mobile Phone" that dials your mobile telephone number. Then, you could set up an IVR so that if a caller presses 9, they would be routed to "Misc Destinations:My Mobile Phone."

You might also create a Misc Destination called "Intercom to Ext 5000" that dials *805000. (*80 is the feature code for intercom.) Then you could set up an IVR so that if a caller presses 8, they would be routed to "Misc Destinations:Intercom to Ext 5000."

How is the Misc Destinations Module related to the other Modules?

The Misc Destinations module works together with any module that can route calls to a destination, including the Inbound Routes Module and IVR Module.
