XactView V3-Managing Layouts
The default layout of your XactView V3 consist of 1 Dashboard and a few widgets of information. You can create additional Dashboards and Widgets:
Dashboard- Is the tab you see at the top. By Default you will see a single Dashboard called Dashboard 1.
Widgets- Each feature inside a Dashboard is called a widget. By default you will see your Dashboard 1 has the following widgets installed.
My Stream- Is the listing of all extensions that belong to your user along with call history of inbound and outbound calls.
Users- A listing of all other users of your XactView that have been setup to display their extensions in XactView as controlled by the PBX Admin GUI when creating an extension.
Recordings- A list of any call recordings made by your users with the ability to listen to them.
Voicemail- A listing of all voicemail boxes for and of the extensions that are assigned to your user and the ability to manage the voicemails.
Â
Inside each Dashboard you can include as many widgets as you would like and you can customize the flow and size of each widget. To get started we are going to create a new Dashboard and add some additional widgets. Available Widgets at this time are the 4 mentioned above plus:
Conference Rooms- Lets you view all the callers in a Conference Room and Kick and Mute participants.
CRM- Lets you do URL Screen POPs and pass information like Caller ID into the URL pop.
Parking Lots- Ability to view callers in a Parking Lot and retrieve parked callers.
Queue Stats- View a quick overview of stats on a queue.
Queue Callers- View all the callers waiting in a queue.
Queue Agents- View all the agents in a queue along with their penalty.
Â
To create a new Dashboard, click on the + icon on the right side of your XactView.
Â
Â
From here it will open a new Dashboard. Clicking the pencil icon will allow you to edit the name of the Dashboard that you are currently in.
Â
Â
We will name our new Dashboard "Queues" since we will be adding Queue related widgets to this Dashboard.
Â
Â
Since we have no widgets added yet to our Dashboard, we'll see a big + icon in the middle of the page. Pressing this will let us add our first widget.
Â
In our example we will click on the "Queues" section of the Add Widget pop up and choose a widget for our Sales Queue. Then we'll press the "Add to Dashboard" button.
Â
Â
We will now see the Queue Stats widget for our Sales Queue added in our Queues Dashboard.
Â
Â
To add more widgets to this Dashboard, we need to click on the "Unlock" icon to unlock the Dashboard so we can pick where to add a new widget.
Â
Â
We will now see icons in our Queues Widget to split the widget either "vertically" or "horizontally."
Â
Â
We will pick the "horizontal" option and our dashboard will be split horizontally. We will then get a new + icon to add our new widget in the lower half of the screen.
Â
Â
Once we add another widget we can choose to now split either existing widgets again horizontally or vertically and keep adding widgets for our Dashboard until we get everything we want added.
Â
Â
While the Dashboard is still unlocked we can also drag the vertical or horizontal bars around to resize the box of each widget such as this.
Â
Â
Press the red "X" next to any widget to remove that widget from your Dashboard while in Unlock mode.
Â
Once you have completed the layout and editing of your Dashboard, press the "Lock" button to lock in the changes. At anytime you can unlock a Dashboard to make changes.
