How to Force Check Disk

Running Check Disk

1. SSH into system

2. Type

   • touch /forcefsck

3. Now type

   • reboot

4. When it reboots it will go through a check disk
   
   

Running Check Disk (Alternative)

1. SSH into system

2. Reboot system with the command:

   • shutdown -rF now
     
     

3. When it reboots it will go through a check disk
