Install Yealink LCD Expansion Module EXP40

Overview

The following is information on how to install and program the Yealink LCD Expansion Module EXP40 for the Yealink SIP-T46G/T46S and SIP-T48G/T48S phones for Business Voice platforms. The EXP40 module is programmed via the Business Voice portal.

  • Can daisy-chain up to 6 expansion modules to a single host phone (SIP-T46G/T46S or SIP-T48G/T48S), for a maximum of 240 extension keys per phone.

  • Host phone provides power for up to 2 EXP40 modules. When more than 2 modules are added to a single host phone, connect a power adapter to one of the expansion modules.

  • BLF/BLA, speed dialing, call forward, transfer, park, pickup and more is available.

Add Expansion Modules EXP40

  1. Access the Business Voice portal:

    1. Select Configuration at the top of the page.

    2. Search and select the location'

    3. Select Extensions under the Device Configuration in the left side menu.

  2. Select Edit for the required extension.

  3. 6 Expansion Module slots are available for the Yealink SIP-T46G/T46S or SIP-T48G/T48S. Note:  Power supply is required when adding more than 2 modules.

  4. Select the Expansion Module 1, e.g., [LCD] EXP40. Note: Sangoma records the unique item's serial number prior to shipment.

  5. Repeat for each module, as appropriate.

  6. When finished, click Save Changes.

  7. Click Save Changes to System.

  8. Reboot the phone.

Add Speed Dials to Expansion Module EXP40 (with or without "Key System Mode")

  1. Access the Business Voice portal:

    1. Select Configuration at the top of the page.

    2. Search and select the location.

    3. Select Individual Phone Settings.

    4. Select Speed Dials.

  2. Add the appropriate Speed Dial numbers.

  3. When finished, click Save Changes.

  4. Click Save Changes to System.

  5. Reboot the phone.

Note: Speed Dials display first, including Reserved for Park Key and Park Positions, if the system is in "Key System Mode". Expansion Module field is listed below Speed Dials. Duplicate entries are not allowed
