SMS Campaign Registry - Pricing
There are two parts to the registration process, each of which has associated fees:
Brand Registration
Campaign Registration
About the Registration and Campaign Fees
The following fees are determined and charged by The Campaign Registry (TCR), not Sangoma. Sangoma will bill the customer these fees as a pass-through charge.
Brand and campaign registration each have a one-time registration fee.
TCR charges a recurring monthly campaign fee which you will see on your bill.
Brand registration fees
Brand registration is part 1 of the SMS Registration process.
This section verifies the legitimacy of your U.S. business by requesting information about your business type and specific details, such as your Tax ID, company website, and more. TCR then cross-references your company’s information with multiple databases and may also use third-party verification services for additional vetting.
Brand registration fees apply for every brand application.
Type | Fee | Required For | Description |
Brand Application Fee | $6 (one time) | All Customers | Registration Fee for New Customers/Brands. Note that this fee is charged per “Brand Creation” so subsequent submissions after a rejection will again be charged $6.00. |

Warning
If your brand registration gets rejected, you are required to apply again. You will be charged the Brand Application Fee for each brand registration request.

Non-compliance fees
Mobile carriers enforce non-compliance fees for messages that violate their messaging policies.
A Severity Zero (Sev-0) violation represents the most harmful non-compliance violation to consumers and is the highest level of escalation with which a carrier will engage with Sangoma. This applies across all products (SMS or MMS, Short Code, Toll-Free, and 10DLC) using a mobile carrier network.
There are three tiers of Sev-0 violations, billed for every offense.
Tier 1: $2,000 USD, for phishing, smishing, and social engineering.
Social Engineering is when users are manipulated into sharing private information such as credit cards or social security numbers.
Tier 2: $1,000 USD, for illegal content (must be legal in all 50 states and federally).
Illegal content includes but is not limited to, Cannabis, Marijuana, CBD, Illegal Prescriptions, and Solicitation.
Tier 3: $500 USD for all other violations, including but not limited to SHAFT.
Please review the T-Mobile Code of Conduct Section 5.2 for a list of all prohibited content.
