Profiles
Each TDM DS-1, IP Port, or IP Gateway have specific characteristics that need to be configured into them to be able to function within each separate network. This is achieved by configuring a separate profile for each group of TDM DS-1's, each group of IP ports, and each External SIP Gateway. Once the profile is configured, they can then be associated with a TDM DS-1, IP Port, or SIP Gateway. The Profiles object is a parent or container object. Under the Profiles object, numerous TDM/VoIP/GW profiles can be created. These Profiles can then be associated with a particular DS-1, IP Port, or SIP Gateway. To create the Profiles object right click on the Dialogic object at the top of the Web GUI configuration tree and select New Profiles.Â

The profile being created under the Profiles object will eventually be associated with a TDM DS-1, IP Port, or SIP Gateway. This is achieved by configuring/selecting from a drop down menu in either the DS-1, IP Port, or IP Gateway, one of the profiles initially created. For example, the SIP SGP objects created can be selected from a drop down menu in the SIP Signaling object or the IP Bearer Profile can be selected from drop down menu in the SIP Channel Group object.
