IP Traffic Management

IP Traffic Management, also called Call Admission Control, allows the IMG 2020 to be able to limit the number of simultaneous calls that can be active between a network element (any configured IMG 2020 or external gateway) and a IMG 2020. IP traffic limits are applied to the combined total of incoming and outgoing calls. To create the IP Traffic Management, right click on the Routing Configuration object and select New IP Traffic Management. The IP Traffic Management object that gets created is a parent or container object. Under this object, multiple IP Traffic Management entries can get created. Each entry will communicate with a separate external network entity such as an IP gateway to limit the number of simultaneous calls the accepted.
