What information does the "view extensions" page provide?
When you click on Extensions --> view extensions, PBXtra shows you information about all of the extensions provisioned for your system.
Hold your mouse over any item within the Admin Panel that has a blue ? mark superscripted to view instant roll-over help.
A brief description of each column follows:
Del: Delete the extension
Ext: The extension number
Status: The registration status of the extension. "Registration" is the actual function or process that allows the phone to place and receive calls. A phone must be registered in order to properly communicate with the PBXtra .
Green:Â Indicates the phone is registered with the PBXtra
Red: Indicates the phone is not registered with the PBXtra . Please refer to the Troubleshooting section at left for information about how to re-register your particular model of phone. The process differs between manufacturers, so please select your device from the list
N/A: Indicates that this extension is a "virtual extension" (e.g. no IP Phone or Softphone exists for the extension)
User's Name: The First and Last name of the extension's owner
Description: The extension's description. This section may or may not be filled out. It exists purely to help administrators tell extensions apart
Direct Dial: The phone number (DID) assigned to the extension
Blast: Whether or not the extension is part of the Blast group (1 Blast group per server)
HUD: Whether or not the extension is "in HUD"
Fwd: Whether or not the extension is currently forwarding calls to another extension or phone number
Login: Click the LOGIN button next to any extension in order to access that extension's User Panel. The User Panel allows extension-specific configuration options such as FindMe, Voicemail, and a personal inbound and outbound call history to name a few
