Open Source - How to determine which G729 codec binary I should use in my asterisk system

The best or most optimized G729 codec binary for your system hardware can be determined by the bench g729 application.
 

Note: The BenchG729 utility checks the transcoding times of each binary available for your system architecture and provides a suggestion based on the fastest transcoding time. Please note that sometimes the suggestion given by the application may not correspond to the CPU that your system has installed. We recommend to always use the binary suggested by the BenchG729 application.
