How to Close your account

While we don't want to see you go, we understand that you may need to close one or more PBxs within your PBXact Cloud account as your needs change.  

Please note: Once services for a PBX have been cancelled, those services will not be renewed, and access to the services and account information on this account will be terminated immediately. This process cannot be reversed, and you will not be able to get the phone numbers back again or port them to another carrier. No refunds are given for any remaining days of the current billing cycle. Please see our PBXact UCC Terms and Conditions for complete information.


 

When Porting Out...

If you are porting numbers out from PBXact Cloud, it is important for you to wait to cancel your account until after the port has been completed to ensure availability of your DIDs for the porting process. Otherwise, you may permanently lose your numbers.

Important: Do not forget to cancel the related PBXact Cloud services after the port process has been completed by your new carrier. Otherwise, you will continue to be billed monthly for all of your services and no refunds will be given based on our PBXact UCC Terms and Conditions.


How do I cancel all of my PBXact Cloud services?

  1. Log into the PBXact Cloud Store.

  2. Click on My PBXact Cloud in the navigation menu. 

    Please note: If you have more than one PBX, click on PBXs in the navigation menu and select Switch Account for the PBX you wish to cancel.

  3. If you are renting Sangoma phones, you will need to return the phones before cancelling service. To return phones go to the My PBXact Cloud and click Manage Phone Rentals.

  4. Click Create RMA and complete the required fields. Click Create RMA ticket. An RMA ticket will be created and a member of our support team will contact you to return the phones.

    Important: To ensure no additional charges are incurred for unreturned rental equipment please complete the RMA prior to cancelling service.. Please refer to the PBXact UCC Terms of Service for additional information.

  5. On the right of the My PBXact Cloud page you’ll see the “Cancel Account” button. This will remove all services associated with this PBX which includes DID’s. Please verify that all DID’s associated with this PBX have been either ported, moved to another account, or are no longer needed. 

  6. Please provide the requested date and reason for cancellation. Complete the form to submit the request. Once submitted, a member of Customer Success will contact you within 2 business days to confirm cancellation.
