International Outbound Calling

How does it work?

SIPStation international outbound calling is a prepaid, metered service. All international outbound calls are charged a per-minute fee. These per-minute charges are deducted from your reserve account as described in our How Metered Service Works wiki. Enabling international calling in SIPStation will automatically enable Top-Ups. If this is your first time enabling Top-Ups, the initial top-up amount will be charged to your account in order to make funds available for metered services.  International calling is only supported on voice calls. We do not support T38 faxing for international calls .

 How do I sign up?

  1. Log into the SIPStation Store at http://www.sipstation.com and choose a location if applicable.


  2. Click on My Account in the green navigation menu.

  3. Click on the Account Configuration tab

     
     

  4. Scroll down toward the bottom to find the Metered Services section.

  5. Set the International Toll Calls toggle switch to On (green). This will immediately enable international calling. Remember, Top-Ups will automatically become enabled when you enable International Toll Calls. If this is your first time enabling Top-Ups, this will result in a top-up charge on your account.


 

Weekly International Limit

  1. By default when you enable International Calling as outlined above we set your weekly dollar limit to 5.00. 

  2. Log into the SIPStation Store at http://www.sipstation.com and choose a location if applicable.


  3. Click on My Account in the green navigation menu.

  4. Click on the Account Configuration tab

     
     

  5. Scroll down toward the bottom to find the International Fraud Guard section.


     

  6. Click on the Configure button and you will get a dropdown to pick different dollar amounts based on your approved limits with Sangoma. By default new accounts can pick between $5.00 and $10.00 for a weekly limit. This resets every Sunday.

    1. To request a higher weekly limit please open a support ticket at our support center here requesting a higher limit and we can assist you with this.

How do I disable international calling?

 

  1. Log into the SIPStation Store at http://www.sipstation.com and choose a location if applicable.


  2. Click on My Account in the green navigation menu.

  3. Click on the Account Configuration tab


     

  4. Scroll down toward the bottom to find the Metered Services section.

  5. Set the International Toll Calls toggle switch to Off (gray). This will immediately disable international calling. Note: Top-Ups cannot be refunded.
