New Features:

• Google Account Login: Users can now log in using their Google accounts, providing a more convenient and secure login option.

Improvements:

• User Experience:

  1. Consistent Naming:

     • All instances of the application name have been standardized to "Sangoma SMS" across the app.

  2. Correct Versioning:

     • The profile tab now displays the correct app version.

  3. Persistent Login:

     • Users will now remain logged in until they choose to log out or their entitlement is removed, resolving issues with unexpected logouts.

  4. iOS Keyboard Issue:

     • The option to take a picture or select an image from the gallery is no longer hidden by the keyboard.

• Contact Management:

  1. Contacts Permission Issues Resolved:

     • Permissions for accessing contacts now behave consistently across Android versions. 

  2. Contact Updates:

     • Conversations now update correctly when a contact's information is updated.

  3. Personal Contacts Display:

     • Personal contacts now display in the correct order (First Name Last Name) when starting a new message.

  4. Empty Phonebook in Contacts:

     • Fixed an issue where the phonebook under contacts appeared empty despite being enabled.

Bug Fixes:

• Messaging:

  1. Invalid Number Error Display:

     • Numbers starting with '001' (e.g., 0019416233186) and similar patterns (e.g., 2003247) now correctly display as invalid on the UI.

  2. Message Pagination:

     • Issues with loading more messages (pagination) have been resolved.

• Notifications:

  1. iOS Push Notifications:

     • Fixed an issue where push notifications for SMS were not received on iOS.

  2. Push Notifications After Logout:

     • Resolved an issue where users continued to receive push notifications after logging out.

  3. Duplicate Push Notifications:

     • Fixed an issue where users received two push notifications for the same message.

• Attachments:

  1. Android Attachment Previews:

     • Resolved an issue preventing Android users from previewing attachments (especially images).

• Permissions and Crashes:

  1. Push Notification Permissions Crash:

     • Fixed a crash that occurred on Android when push notification permissions were not granted.

• Miscellaneous:

  1. Search Icon Placement:

     • Corrected a small cosmetic issue where the search icon was placed off-screen.

  2. 2FA Login Flow:

     • Fixed the login flow for 2FA to work properly when retrieving codes from email/SMS on the same device.
