Switchvox - How to upload a custom logo image to a Digium phone

Custom Logo Image is the image that displays on the phone's display screen.This article will explain how to upload a custom logo to your Digium phone and how to apply it to all phones on the network

To apply a custom logo to your Digium phone please follow these steps:

  1. Access the Admin GUI and navigate to: Setup  Extensions  Manage (choose the extension for the phone that will be doing the upload)  Modify. This will take you to Modify SIP Extension.

  2. Choose Phone Settings Tab  Digium Phones

  3. You should now see the Digium logo as it would appear in the phone display.

  4. To the right of the Digium logo you should see Upload Picture icon with a blue arrow pointing upward. 

  5. Click the Upload Picture icon and a box will open to add/upload the saved file that contains the custom logo to be uploaded (i.e. my documents..c: where the file has been saved). An Custom Logo Image must be a PNG image. The optimum dimensions are 205x85 but any image size can be accepted and scaled.

  6. Click add.

  7. Now you should see your custom logo appear where the Digium logo once was(it should now appear also in the display of the phone).

 

To apply the custom logo to all phones go to:

  1. Admin → Setup → Manage → Bulk-Modify Extensions.

  2. Under Phone-Extension Fields choose the extensions for which the change will be applied to

  3. Go to Phone Settings → Digium Phones

  4. Choose Field to modify : General Settings → Idle Screen 

  5. You should now see the custom logo

  6. Click the add button and the logo should now be applied to all phones
