Switchvox - How to register a Digium phone with Switchvox PBX

Steps on the Switchvox Cloud server
Log into the Admin interface of your Switchvox Cloud service (example https://example.digiumcloud.net/admin )
Go to Setup > Digium Phones and click Desk Phone Assignment Options
Write down the Assignment Code
If you are going to configure several phones, it's advisable that you enable Open Enrollment Period. This is going to configure your Switchvox Cloud service to accept phone configuration request without asking for authentication for a short period of time.
Click Save Assignment Options
Steps on the phones
Reboot your Digium phone. When the screen shows Step 2 of 8, press and hold * , 8 and 6 until the phone screen shows Resetting to factory default and rebooting message
Select More > More > Settings and then choose Digium Configuration server
Press the [IP]/Host softkey
Using the digits on the phone enter the URL associated with your system (i.e.: example.digiumcloud.net)
Optionally, you could ping your instance from your computer (ping example.digiumcloud.net) and enter the IP address . You will need to open terminal or command prompt in order to run the ping command.
Enter 5060 In the port field
Press the Go softkey
When prompted, enter the Assignment Code. Please use the code that you got from the Switchvox Cloud server above.
Select the desired extension number from the list. If the extension is not listed, use the filter option and select all extensions.

Steps on the PBX
Log into the admin interface of your switchvox (example https://example.digiumcloud.net/admin )
Go to Setup > Digium phones and click Desk Phone assignment Options
Write down the Assignment Code
If you are going to configure several phones, it's advisable that you enable Open Enrollment Period. This is going to configure your PBX to accept phone configuration request without asking for authentication for a short period of time.
Click Save Assignment Options
Navigate to Server -> IP configuration and confirm IP address of your system and if you plan to have phones that connects from the internet please enable Allow NAT Port Forwarding and set the correct External IP address.
When Switchvox receives a SIP request from a device located on different network, Switchvox will send the External IP address instead of local IP. If you have phones on another network, but you want Switchvox to send its local IP, please add these networks in the additional local network under the Advanced Options.
Navigate to Server -> Networking -> Phone Networks
Click the Details button on the All Networks line and confirm that is configured with the correct IP address.
Please note that Switchvox may have multiple phone networks. In order to determine which is the correct network that you need, please get the IP of your phone and look for a network that matches. An an example, if your phones ip is 192.168.1.1 and Switchvox has 0.0.0.0/0 and 192.168.1.0/24, the network that matches your phone is 192.168.1.0/24.

If your phone is located on the same network of the Switchvox, you may be able to see the server on the main screen. If this is the case, please select the server and jump to step 7.

Optionally, you could ping your instance from your computer (ping example.mycompany.com) and enter the IP address. You will need to open terminal or command prompt in order to run the ping command.
