Issues Resolved
Correction for incoming fax receipt. Printing to a file for fax is not available in 8x, but faxes can be received.
Mobile Softphone (Sangoma Talk mobile app) encryption now turns on automatically after changing SIP transport to TLS, without a software reload.
Fixed the ability to upload Soundpacks RPM in the event of an error "This is not a signed file"
Hardware Country Settings value is now preserved after the update from 7.9.5.2 to 8.x.
Call Queues: corrected the sound selections where they were wrongly displayed (this did not affect the sounds that were played, only how they were displayed in the UI)
The Admin Web Suite landing page was corrected for old content.
SIPStation Setup tool is corrected for communications with the SIPStation site.
Corrected the process of building and downloading a TSR (Technical Service Report)
Recorded Calls no longer displays incorrectly in Backups optional directories list
Softphone selection is removed from the Hotdesking page (Hotdesking is only necessary for desk phones).
Creating recordings extension-to-ring selection can now ring a softphone.
Asterisk endpoints are now removed for Sangoma Talk when login_email_address has changed or removed.
Known Issues
Deleting Admin Rapid Dial Lists, Contact List Regeneration Error
When deleting an admin-created rapid dial list, Switchvox fails to properly regenerate the contacts lists for telephones to which the admin-created rapid dial list was created. This leaves orphaned contacts inside the telephone's contacts application. This issue has been present in Switchvox since the introduction of admin-created rapid dial lists and is not a regression.
To work around this issue, manually delete each item, one-at-a-time from the admin-created rapid dial list, or, if the list has already been deleted, log into each user's web tool and make any change to that user's telephone's rapid dial list items. Either of these will ensure that contacts files for telephones are properly generated.
With the known workarounds for this minor issue easily accessible, there is no immediate timeframe for a programmatic fix for this issue.
