TeamHub V3.1.0 Release Notes - January 15th, 2024

TeamHub is now supporting SMS: SMS is a new application that allows TeamHub users to send and receive text messages directly in TeamHub. This requires a DID and a license assignment for the app to show up.
FindMe/Follow Me: FindMe/Follow Me settings are now available for Business Voice users to define these rules directly within TeamHub.This mimics what we have today in the Business Voice Portal.
Deep integration with Meet: Meet is replacing Huddle calls allowing users to make a video call and easily share their video and screens if needed with a single click right from the chat rooms. This integration enables room ownership for whoever initiates the meeting.
- Users in the channels, group conversations and direct messages can see who joined the call and who left.
Deep integration with Talk: Talk is now embedded into chat rooms, making it easy for users to make an audio call (extension to extension) right from the chat room.
Browser tab notification: Browser tab notification will indicate when there is a new activity in TeamHub.
Small UI tweaks: The CX App will show the proper list of extension types.
Bug Fixes
- Audio settings in Talk are now keeping your input/output settings.
- Fixed an issue with call dropping due to double registration when using Talk in a browser
- UI/UX enhancements

All features mentioned in the Web section are now supported in the latest version of the Desktop app.

You need to quit the Desktop app and restart it to get the new changes.

A new application called “Sangoma SMS” is being published to app stores to support the mobile experience. This will be deeply linked to TeamHub Chat and Talk.
