Overview
The S518 is a fully integrated internal PCI ADSL modem card providing ultra-fast broadband access to the Internet.
It provides a fast, reliable and seamless broadband Internet connection at speeds up to 8 Mbps (megabits/second) downstream and 1 Mbps upstream.
The high bandwidth ADSL is ideal for Internet sharing, where multiple users can all share the same Internet connection.
The S518 is fully supported under Linux and Windows®.

Faceplate
Sangoma Telephony cards ship pre-installed with 1 U faceplate, along with a 2 U faceplate as accessory.
If you have a 2 U server, the 1 U faceplate will need to be removed to install the 2 U faceplate.

Server requirements
Intel Pentium PC, 120 Mhz with 1 spare PCI slot and 1 spare Interrupt (IRQ) line
Linux 2.2/2.4 or Windows NT 4.0/98/ME/2K/XP operating systems
ADSL line

Telephony card installation is very simple:
Power off server and remove cover to access the PCI
Identify the PCI slot to be used for your telephony card
Remove the backplate for that slot, from the server.Â
This backplate may require screwdriver to remove screws before pulling off the backplate. Use your discretion
Insert the telephony card into the PCI slot and verify it is firmly seated
With the faceplate lines up with the mounting bracket, screw it firmware in place.
Place server cover back on and power on
