M3UA Sigtran Links
The M3UA Sigtran Links object is a container or parent object which allows the user to create multiple associations/sigtran links to be used for SS7 signaling over IP. The Sigtran Links are created under the SS7 stack object that is specifically configured for M3UA signaling (M3UA Service mode field must be set to Signaling Gateway mode). When transmitting or receiving SS7 ISUP information over an M3UA network, the signaling information is sent over an association/sigtran link. These association are created under the M3UA Sigtran Links object. To create the Sigtran Links object, right click on an SS7 stack configured in Signaling Gateway Mode and select New Sigtran Links. From the Sigtran Links object created, Â multiple associations/sigtran links can be created.

After creating the M3UA Sigtran Links object, the individual associations/sigtran links can then be created. These associations carry the ISUP signaling information over an IP network between the Signaling Gateway Server being configured and a remote Application Server.
