Initiate SDWAN POC - How do I... ?

Proof of Concept Process Details:

  • POC deployments are for a maximum of 45 days.  Additional time can be requested and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.  Recent SAM initiative for EOY 2017 is set for 90 days.

  • POC agreement indicating term and price, along with any requested language changes as approved by Legal if necessary, will need to be completed and signed by the customer.

    • Start Date, Term, Location list, MRR and NRR should be completed before being sent to the customer

  • The signed POC, appropriate contact for kickoff and a SOW/Jobpack on what we are trying to accomplish with the SDWAN and what constitutes a successful POC will need to be submitted to the SOW Approval Queue in Fieldpoint.

    • This can be done by emailing all documents to SOWApproval@netfortris.com

    • Jobpack should include contacts for people responsible for SDWAN deployment on the customer side and may include a partner consultant as well.

    • All locations involved in the POC should be detailed on the final tab of the jobpack

  • SE Team will approve the POC information and pass this on to NetFortris Ops

  • Customer contact within will be contacted by a Project Manager who will setup a call to review the design and deployment details.

  • Equipment will be shipped out after the above call is completed to technical satisfaction.

  • The sales person assigned to the account will be responsible for following up near the 45 day (or near end of term if different than 45) mark to confirm that the POC has been successful.

  • If customer signs for service, customer will keep the unit deployed

  • If customer denies service, PM will be responsible for reclaiming gear/coordinating return of gear to Warehouse

Both documents needed to begin an SDWAN POC from the Sales perspective are at the bottom of this page.
