FreePBX HA-Licensing

A High Availability (HA) system is made up of two PBX systems or "nodes." Each node has its own Deployment ID. For licensing purposes, you can think of each node as a standalone system that needs its own set of licenses.

Do I need to purchase more than one HA license?

Yes. Each High Availability (HA) license is for a single node. In order for HA to work, you would need to purchase one HA license for each Deployment ID.

Do I need to purchase more than one license for each commercial module?

Yes. Just like a High Availability (HA) module license, other commercial module licenses are tied to a specific Deployment ID.

For each commercial module in a HA system, you would need to purchase two licenses. You would assign one license to one Deployment ID and the other license to the other Deployment ID.
