Feature Enhancements

 

  • Global Features

    • Introduce Image Management for all devices that support auto provisioning background images.  See this link of supported device models.  View the complete Admin Guide for this feature.

    • Display the extension name not just extension number in the Extension Mapping page of EPM

    • Add support to create and manage Custom Extensions to be used for EPM.  View the complete Admin Guide for this feature.

    • Exit out installer of module if OSS End Point Manager is installed as to not create conflicts between the two.

Bug Fixes

    • Initial Public release of all features above plus following bug fixes

    • Fix bug where import of templates would fail for some brands

    • Fix bug with Polycom Base File edit not letting you edit existing basefile entries.

    • Fix bug with SNOM phones not honoring time zones picked in a template

    • Fix bug where Cisco's when selecting http as the provision protocol was not setting the HTTP port as defined in the Global Settings section of EPM

    • Fix bug where duplicating a template was not working.

    • Allow "" to be passed as a value in buttons.  For example if you want a speeddial as ## for aastra it has to be entered in the config file as "##" or the phone wont pick it up.
