Overview
This component provides a FQDN for your PBX. DDNS automatically assigns a unique hostname to your system and updates it whenever the IP address of your PBX changes. This is used to assist remote devices in staying connected to the machine.
Logging in
On the top menu click Admin
In the drop down click System Admin
On the right side navigation box click DDNS
Settings
External DDNS Name
This address can be used externally to route to your server.
Detected External IP
The external IP address detected. This is what the above FQDN will route to.
Enable DDNS Services
Yes/No: Whether DDNS services should be enabled for this system.
Force IP Address
(Optional) You can specify an IP for the system to report back to the DDNS server rather than using the detected IP. This will set the IP address statically so it does not dynamically update.
Update Interval
How often the server will update its IP with the DDNS server. Default = Hourly.
