How to transfer using an analog phone
The following document describes how to transfer using an analog phone:
Â
First, the Channel Group must have "Transfer" and "Three way calling" allowed in Channel Admin. This will allow you to use a hook flash to perform a transfer.
Go to System Setup → Channel Admin to modify the FXS channel group.  Then look for "Transfer" along with "Three way calling" and enable these.Â
Keep in mind that saving the channel group settings will drop any calls that are currently up on the PBX.
Once these settings have been saved, you should be able to transfer using the method below:
While on a call, hook flash to switch to a new line. This will also put the current call on hold.
Dial the extension you want to transfer to and wait for the new call to connect. At this point the first call is still on hold.
Hook flash again. This will initiate a three-way call.
Hang up your phone. The first call and  second call will still be connected, and the transfer will be complete.
Â
Note:Â This is equivalent to an assisted transfer on a SIP phone.
