Switchvox - How do I transfer directly to voicemail

This article explains how to transfer a call directly to voicemail using a feature code extension.

First create a Direct to Voicemail Feature Code

1. Setup → Manage → Create Extension

2. Extension type: Go to Voicemail

3. Specify ext (eg. *12) Using this feature code will directly dial another extensions's voicemai

4. In this example we defined *12 as the Go to Voicemail feature code.  To transfer a caller to extension 202's voicemail, simply transfer them to *12202
