Card not detected in system when using LSPCI command

When running the “LSPCI” command in Linux terminal, and if it doesn’t yield the output with the name “Sangoma” then please follow below procedures for troubleshooting the issue

 

 Troubleshooting Steps:

  1. Enable the PCI slot, on BOIS: Ensure the PCI slot in BIOS settings is enabled, in which the card is installed in, otherwise this may result in card not detected

       NOTE: If you  see an A200 output when you have an digital card, this is normal

  1. Remove or change the riser board: Change the riser board and check if the card shows up in LSPCI. If this doesn’t work then connect the card to PCI slot.

  2. Reseating the card on PCI Slot: Try reseating the card in the same PCI slot and then run LSPCI command to see if the card comes back up again. This will rule out the possibilities of card not properly seated in the PCI slot.

  3. Trying with different PCI slot: Try to reseat the card on a different PCI slot available on the same server. This will ensure whether that PCI slot is faulty or not

  4. Testing with different server: Place the card in a different server and see if the card shows up in LSPCI. If still the card is not coming up.
