Route Lists
The IMG 2020 has the ability to route on either a Route Table, Route List, or combination of both. A Route List consists of a list of Channel Groups. These channel groups are listed in an ordered manner set up by the user and are accessed using different hunting options such as Sequential, Round Robin, Percent, etc. When the IMG 2020 gets to a Route List, it starts by trying to route to the first channel group in the list. If that route fails it proceeds to the next channel group. (The second channel group it tries to route to will depend on the Hunting Options configured). This procedure will continue until a route is found. The Route Lists object described in this topic is a parent or container object. Multiple Route List objects can be created under this object. The IMG 2020 maintains a database of individual route lists that get created and refers to them when needed. To create the Route Lists object, right click on the Routing Configuration Pane and select New Route Lists. Once this object is created each individual Route List can be created and configured.
