How does Boomerang work?

Fonality's FindMe implementation includes technology that allows you to interact with your phone system directly from you cell phone.

Imagine this, you're out of the office, and a call comes through to your cell.  It's John Smith with a really large order.  You don't have anything to write with, so you decide to record the call in order to capture his order explicitly and store it for processing when you return to the office.

Fonality's FindMe with Boomerange Mobile Integration allows you to press a couple keys and being call recording from your phone system.  The recorded conversation stays with all the other recordings you've made!

From your cell, you can perform the following functions:

  1. Transfer a call - While you are on a call that came to your cell phone via FindMe, press # followed by the extension number in order to perform a blind transfer (aka "transfer and clear").

  2. Attended Transfer - While you are on a call that came to your cell phone via FindMe, press *2 followed by the extension number in order to perform an attended transfer.

  3. Record a call - While you are on a call that came to your cell phone via FindMe, press *1 to begin recording.  The recorded file will be stored on your Fonality phone system and accessible from the ACD --> recording page.
