FONscore- How is it calculated?

FONscore is built into Fonality's CP Rerporting tab > Call Quality Reports page.

There is a great video and help article showing FONscore in action here.

The purpose of this article to explain how the CDR (Call Detail Records) are used to compile the FONscore that you see.

Here is an example of a Call Detail CSV entry for one call:

========================================================

09:14:44",51,50,"ANSWERED","DOCUMENTATION","140111111.2953404","SIP/0004F230000-0000e998<ssrc=382388428;themssrc=1#######;lp=0;rxjitter=0.003808;rxcount=2473;

txjitter=0.000000;txcount=2409;rlp=0;rtt=0.081000>"

========================================================

RTCP fields are inserted into the Raw CDR Reports and are used to interpret the Jitter, packet loss, RX/TX counts and so on through a propretary formula resulting in the FONscore for that call.

FONscore consist of 4 different results based on the CDR Call Data:
