To this point, Fonality has built a unique, free diagnostic service into our Admin Control Panel that allows customer admins to verify recent call quality. Dubbed FonScore, this diagnostic tool provides a unique view into your communication system to see metrics like latency, jitter and packet loss for recent calls. Additionally, all quality metrics are stored in call detail records for historical investigation. With feedback from this tool, you can make adjustments to your network that helps prioritize VoIP traffic over other data traffic.Â
Shows the quality of your IP Phone connection.
There are 4 ratings: white, green, yellow, red.
o White - there is not enough data to determine the FONscore.
o Green - the IP Phone connection is in good condition.
o Yellow - the connection has some minor quality issue (jitter, packet loss) -- caller may not notice problems.
o Red - The IP phone connection is having some major quality issues. Callers may notice problems such as broken speech or echo.
