Switchboard Top Navigation Bar User Training

This article is a companion document for the Switchboard Top Navigation Bar video. The Top Navigation bar gives you access to certain tools and settings that help you communicate through Switchboard. 
 

Dial Box

Enter a phone number and click Dial to call from the Switchboard. 

Open

Layout Editor

This enables you to create custom design Switchboard layouts for your own workflow or job role. 

Open

My Status

Click this icon to open My Status, a tool that enables you to control how the system displays your availability. You can change your status by selecting from the displayed options, and you can add explanatory messages to any of the statuses. 

My Notifications

Click this icon to display Notifications that have occurred in the past. 

Settings

This displays the Notifications menu, shown in the second image. For complete instructions about Notification setup, see: How to Modify Switchvox Switchboard Notification Settings.

My Profile

Allows you to return to the Switchvox portal, or to logout.
