Polycom IP 330 and 331 series configuration instructions for Fonality Connect

Open

Use the Silver four-way arrow keys in order to scroll through the menu options.

Use the checkmark key in the center to select.

Because the LCD is small, only one option will be displayed at a time.  You must press the down arrow key in order to see more options available within a particular menu.

If the phone is idle, as shown in the photo:

Open

1. On the phone, press the Menu key and select Settings > Advanced

2. Contact us for the password to your Polycom phone, followed by the "Enter" softkey once you've entered the password.

3. Select Admin Settings > Network Configuration.

4. Scroll down and select Server Menu.

5. Select ServerType and change it to FTP.  Hit OK (center checkmark button between the arrow keys)

6. Select Server Address.

7. Press the "#" pound key until "URL" is displayed at the top of the screen.

8. Enter "ftp.pbxtra.com" using the * key to enter decimal points (it should type an actual period on the screen).  Hit Ok (center checkmark button between the arrow keys).

9. Scroll down to the 'Server User' and press the right arrow key to edit.

10. Press the "#" pound key until "123" is displayed at the top of the screen.

11. Enter your server ID and press "OK" (center checkmark button between the arrow keys) to return to the previous menu.

12. Scroll down to the 'Server password' and press the right arrow key to edit.

13. Press the "#" pound key until "123" is displayed at the top of the screen.

14. Enter your FTP password and then press "OK" (center checkmark button between the arrow keys) to return to the previous menu.

15. Press the Exit key twice, or until prompted to save and exit.  Confirm by pressing the Yes button.

If the phone is rebooting:

1. During the boot countdown, press the "setup" softkey as shown in the photo to the right.

2. Contact us for the password to your Polycom phone, followed by the "Enter" softkey once you've entered the password.

3. Scroll down and select Server Menu.

4. Select ServerType and change it to FTP.  Hit Ok. (center checkmark button between the arrow keys)

5. Select Server Address.

6. Press the "#" pound key until "URL" is displayed at the top of the screen.

7. Enter "ftp.pbxtra.com" using the * key to enter decimal points (it should type an actual period on the screen).  Hit Ok (center checkmark button between the arrow keys).

8. Scroll down to the 'Server User' and press the right arrow key to edit.

9. Press the "#" pound key until "123" is displayed at the top of the screen.

10. Enter your server ID and press "OK" (center checkmark button between the arrow keys) to return to the previous menu.

11. Scroll down to the 'Server password' and press the right arrow key to edit.

12. Press the "#" pound key until "123" is displayed at the top of the screen.

13. Enter your FTP password then press "OK" (center checkmark button between the arrow keys) to return to the previous menu.

14. Press the left arrow twice, or until prompted to save and exit.  Confirm by pressing the Yes button.
