D10 DECT Ringing Tones and Behavior

The Sangoma D10 DECT handset features 6 built-in polyphonic ringing tones.  The presentation of tones may be controlled remotely on a per-call basis by sending a specially crafted Alert-Info header in an INVITE to the DB20 base station.

The header should be presented like:

Alert-Info: <http://127.0.0.1>;info=myringingtone

Where myringingtone is one of the following values, each value presenting a different ringing tone:

  • external

  • vip

  • highpriority

  • lowpriority

  • blacklist

  • whitelist

The default ringing tone for the handset is the external ringing tone.

The ringing behavior of the handset is determined by use of a Call-Info header. To cause the handset to go off-hook automatically, for the purposes of intercom paging, use a Call-Info header in your INVITE with a positive value for the answer-after parameter, such as:

Call-Info: answer-after=1
