Q. What models are supported?

A. We will support the T42G, T46G, and T48G however we only sell the T42G and T46G

 

Q. Does Fonality require special firmware for the Yealink Phones?

A.  Yes, any Yealink phone purchased from Fonality is flashed with a Fonality specific and locked firmware.  The version at the time of this release is 29.72.181.2 for the T42G and 28.72.181.2 for the T46G.

 

Q. Can I do something with all the extra buttons?

A. Yes, you can easily program those manually to be speed dials or BLF keys.

 

Q. Do these phones support electronic hookswitch adapter?

A. Yes, you can purchase separately the EHS36 from Yealink to add EHS functionality for wireless headsets.

 

Q. Can I do video on the color screen of the T46G?

A. No, the T46G does not support video calls.
