How to set the configuration server/boot server
After connecting your GXP2000 to the network, power it on.
The phone should go through a boot process and will eventually display it's IPÂ address on screen. Example:Â 192.168.15.101 Â Â Write this IPÂ address down, this is your GXP2000's PRIVATEÂ IPÂ Address.
On a PCÂ connected to the same private network, open a web browser and browse the PRIVATEÂ IPÂ Address of your GXP2000. Example:Â http://192.168.15.101
You will be prompted for a password. The password is admin [case sensitive].
The screen will refresh, and you'll "land"Â on the Advanced Settings tab on the phones Web User Interface, as shown to the right.
In the "Firmware Upgrade and Provisioning" section, select "Upgrade Via:Â TFTP".
Find the "Config Server Path" field and enter the Private IPÂ address of your PBX. If you do not know the IPÂ of your PBX, please refer to this article:Â How Do check my server's IPÂ address?
Once you've finished entering the IP, click Update at the bottom of the screen.

Known Issues
Grandstream phones do not auto off-hook when dialing through HUD2
This includes: parking/hold when triggered using HUD, calling out via HUD, barging, et al. Other features should work as expected. Fonality does not plan to resolve this issue because the release of HUD3 will deprecate HUD2 entirely and no further updates will be released for the HUD2 Client application.
