10.5.3_SP4.1 - An Overview of Features

F-5540 Set the Nature Of Address for Originally Called and Redirect Number

Brief Description:

Currently the IMG supports the INVITE Diversion Header which supports Redirecting Services such as call forwarding in the PSTN. Feature F-5540 adds the interworking of the Nature of Address (NOA) parameter into the Diversion Header. When a SIP INVITE message is received and one or more Diversion Headers are present with the Nature Of Address parameter, the IMG will map the values to the ISUP Redirecting and Original Called Numbers. F-5559 Transparent passing of ISUP via SIP-T

Brief Description:

Feature F-5559 adds a field labeled Transparent ISUP via SIP-T to the ISUP Group object in both the ANSI and ITU protocol. When this field is set to Disabled (Default) the IMG will function normally. Any messages received via SIP-T will be processed through the IMG and any parameters that are added or modified through IMG configuration will still be modified and sent out in the outgoing IAM message. If however the field is set to Enabled any messages being received via SIP-T will be sent to the outgoing ISUP channel group unchanged regardless of the configuration set on the IMG. Any modifications or parameter overrides due to the configuration set on the IMG will be ignored. For more information, refer to the links below in Related Topics section.
