This version requires version 7.0 (94939). See the article Updating to Switchvox 7.0 for instructions on migrating to version 7.0.  Please note that users may need to clear their web browser cache after the update, so any changes from your prior version are displayed correctly.
 

Improvements:

  • Added a Reason notation to Blocked IPs that indicates when the blocking action is the result of a suspected SQL injection attempt. (SWVX-17706)

  • Reduced security footprint by removing support for TLS v1.0 and TLS v1.1 from the CUPS printing service. (SWV-16488)

  • Added WYSIWYG editing and emoji picker to Desktop Softphone chat. (SWVX-17291, SWVX-16813)

  • Matching an SMS message to a Contact is now improved. (SWVX-17581, SWVX-17629, SWVX-17709)

  • Prevent unexpected detection of keypad items in the Desktop Softphone when the keypad tab is open and keypad items are typed into the chat window. (SWVX-17638)

  • Provide an informative message in the Desktop Softphone when a call is declined because the user has no working microphone. (SWVX-17582)

  • An asterisk character (*) is now accepted within the SIP Provider Account ID field. (SWVX-17670)

Issues Resolved:

  • Corrected an issue that caused improper application of configured proxies during Switchvox registration (SWVX-17338)

  • Corrected an issue that improperly processed queued calls in Advanced Queues with Call Back and the Member Waits option when these calls were assigned to members using the Switchboard Queue Call Control feature. (SWVX-17620)

  • Corrected unintended holding of ad hoc conferences after call merges involving four or more callers in the Desktop Softphone (SWVX-17628)

  • Corrected an issue affecting Desktop Softphone redial following participation in ad hoc conference. (SWVX-17588)

  • Corrected an issue that caused outbound calls to a participant’s main extension ring rules to continue after that user had joined a Group Chat Conference with a Desktop Softphone that was not within those ring rules. (SWVX-16716)
