Updating to Switchvox 8.0.1
The article Updating to Switchvox 8.0.1 contains important information for our Switchvox On-premises customers about updating from 7.9.5.2 to 8.x, including information about hardware requirements and features that are deprecated. Please read that article before updating to any version 8.x.
This version, 8.1, requires version 7.9.5.2 (103413). You must be on version 7.9.5.2 before you can see and update to version 8.1.Â

New Features
A new action to restart your P-Series phones. From Server > Connection Status, each P-Series phone has the action to restart.
A new setting in Setup > Settings lets the admin turn on or off the P-Series Call Log App driven from Switchvox. If you prefer to use the local Call Log on your P-Series phones, turn this OFF.Â
Prior to 8.1, this was always ON. In 8.1, this is ON by default. Updating to 8.1 does not cause the behavior of the P-Series Call Log app to change.
Switchvox On-Premises only: a new page, Reporting > Admin Activity Reports, is available to the super admin (login name 'admin') to view the admin changes over the previous 60 days.
Issues Resolved
Queues are now available for use in the Switchboard where in 8.0.3 queues with alphanumeric names could not be displayed.
Asterisk is updated for stability and security.
