Support Services - How to restore backup from a meta file

Some Backup files can become so large that it is impractical to download and restore from a single file. These backups are broken into multiple files associated with a Meta file that acts as a key to merging the files.  Backups that are broken into multiple files can be handled through the following process:

  1. Navigate to Server>Maintenance>Backups

  2. Click Upload & Restore Backup

  3. Select the Click to add file field and select the Meta file for upload

  4. Click Upload and Restore Backup

  5. After a few seconds another window will open requesting the backup files, begin with SVB file ending in 00, then 01 etc. until all backup files are loaded.

  6. Follow the restore process as normal from here.

Each .svb file has to be uploaded and the progress of the upload will be shown in the bottom loft of the browser, afetr all the svb files are uploaded the restore processs will start.
